This training course should be delivered to all data users here at NES. A fresher should also be sent out by SPREP annually to make sure that datasets and the Portal are used well and everyone is still up to date with DO's and HOW and keeping the important of the Portal format.

I like the idea of SPREP sending out a fresher annually to make sure that datasets and the Portal are used well just to make sure. In addition, when disseminating information regarding Environment in public, always include the National Data Portal use.

To bring awareness to the data portal, it is worth a specific mention at climate change meetings/workshop as a tool/resource for people to pull information from. It is a good idea to present hardcopies from the portal as an example of the content in the portal.

Incorporate this Environmental Data Portal directly into our data management system as a primary repository and onboarding staff. This way it becomes a vital step in our internal data management processes where everyone must learn and know how to use it.
